A motion to expunge must be filed in the state court system. A copy of this motion should be dropped off to the charging police department. Upon approval of the motion to expunge, the final court document should be brought to the charging police department for record destruction.

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER MADE OUT TO THE CITY OF CRANSTON (NO CASH)

AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL FINGERPRINTING & BACKGROUND CHECKS. APPOINTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE TUESDAYS (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) AND THURSDAYS (1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
